General Rules of the Institute
The college enforces some general rules for its students for smooth functioning of the college. The general rules are as follows:
i) Smoking in the college corridors, Common Rooms and lawns are strictly prohibited.
ii) Any kind of inappropriate behaviour towards women is discouraged and will be severely dealt with.
iii) The students are supposed to check the College Notice Board regularly and to keep themselves updated regarding academic and other activities.
iv) Students are requested to maintain an orderly and disciplined behaviour inside the college campus and in classrooms.
v) Academic integrity must be maintained during the class tests and university examinations.
vi) Outsides are not allowed to enter the college premises without permission from the Principal.
vii) Misbehaviour with teachers and office staff is a serious offence and may even lead to expulsion from the College.
viii) Provisional admission is compulsory within 15 days after the last date of end-semester exams.
ix) For every student, it is mandatory to make library card after admission in the first semester.
x) Students must pay their fees within 15th of each month, failing which for three consecutive months may lead to expulsion from the college.
xi) Regular attendance is compulsory for every student. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory in each semester.
xii) Absence due to illness, bereavement or personal emergencies of the students must be timely reported to the college preferably supported by a medical certificate.
xiii) In case of contagious diseases, the afflicted students are requested to abstain from attending the classes.
